HENDERSON, KY - Wanda Watson, age 86, of Henderson, KY, passed away surrounded by her family, at 9:12 P.M. Friday, March 5, 2010 at her home.

She was a member of Hyland Baptist Church and attended Community Baptist Church. She worked with her husband in their own business, Pro Sports All/Archery for several years as well as in the family dry cleaning business.

She was peceded in death by her husband, Carl “Buddy” Watson in 1974.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Lonna Hopgood and husband Chris Henderson, KY, Teresia Husk and husband J Henderson, KY, 2 Sons: Sam Watson Tucson, Arizona, Mike Watson Sebree, Kentucky, 7 Grandchildren: Amanda Waggener Henderson, Kentucky, Kelly Brocato Henderson, KY, Jacob Husk Henderson, KY, Evan Hopgood Henderson, Kentucky, Jesse Hopgood Henderson, Kentucky, (Note: family is only naming 5 of 7 grandchildren; this is correct and husbands name is only an initial J.)

Funeral services for Wanda Watson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 8, 2010 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, Kentucky. Rev. Tim Hobbs will officate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Marion, Kentucky.

Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Benton-Glunt Funeral home and 9:00 A.M. until servicetim on Monday at the funeral home.
